Paradise of Delight

I have a friend who is currently pregnant and I guess it would be a treat if she sees this link of videos in preparation for her and her baby’s big day! The link includes videos on the different stages of pregnancy plus of giving birth. The videos on giving birth could be a little traumatic but very educational. ;)

Pagbabago

Matagal-tagal na din akong may naisulat dito. ‘Yung medyo makabuluhan at may lalim. Naks! May tatlo akong nawari.

“Since I’ve reached already my 100th post I’ve decided to change my theme settings. I am now using the theme Transparent Theme in replacement of my previous Fluid background. Quite similar with each other in a way. Hope you like it. This quote is my 101st post. :)”

This song by Elton John is one of those songs which I can consider that are “love at first hearing”. Whatever you call it, haha!. I don’t know how to say it, I suck, but that’s how it was! I first heard this song, Tiny Dancer, on the Elton John week of American Idol. I was not actually watching then. I was just listening from somewhere when I heard it. I immediately fell in love with it. Upon hearing it, I immediately checked on YouTube the performance itself. Lucky me, there it was and since then I had an attachment to this song. I like listening to this from time to time. The harmonica and riffs of the singer are among my favorite parts. This version of Stefano Langone was very soulful during his live performance for that week. The final touch when he held Jennifer Lopez’s hand was very clever too. More credit to his singing than to his looks on this, though he is definitely cute. Among my favorite performances during last season. SUPERB!

Here is also a link to the studio version of the song. I also checked Elton John’s. I like Stefano’s version better than the original; and I am sharing it with you. Hope you like it!

This is a response to an earlier reblog of a post regarding “rediscovering a song you once used to love”. I am not really so much into ballads but this song by Martin Nievera You Are to Me is quite special to me. I actually do not recall the reason why I loved this; but whenever I hear this somewhere it is like seeing an old friend once again. I cannot remember but I think my father had a record of this when I was younger and I really fell in love with this song upon hearing it for the first time. It has that magical effect on me. It is also special to me since this song is not that as famous as some of his other songs and I feel that I share this feeling with very few people. I feel extra special because of that. It is like being part of a secret society, haha! This song was actually written by Martin to Pops Fernandez then. Such a lovely song, very heartfelt and overflowing with love. Please check it out. However though you cannot love it as much as I do. That would be like trespassing! I wish that music videos was more popular then. Enjoy the song. You can actually sing along with it. I really want to thank the one who made the video wherever he/she is. Hugs and kisses from me! xoxo

Credits goes to YouTube user APOTIPOTI for posting this video. I love you already!

A moment, a love, a dream aloud
A kiss, a cry, our rights, our wrongs

So stay there
‘Cause I’ll be coming over
And while our bloods still young
It’s so young it runs
We won’t stop ‘til its over
Won’t stop to surrender

my favorite part of the song Sweet Disposition

Many may have known him from the movies Inception or 500 Days of Summer but I started loving this actor from way back. I discovered Mr. Joseph Gordon-Levitt upon seeing a write-up comparing him to my ”then” most favorite actor: Mr. Ryan Gosling. Joe’s now my fave, yey! I am not that familiar with Joe’s work before but learning about the comparison, I thought he was worth checking out. Upon browsing IMDb, I learned that he was part of the movie 10 Things I Hate About You. I loved that movie and learning that he was one of the supporting leads brought back happy memories. After that I started becoming interested with his works. The first movie that I saw of him was Mysterious Skin. It is quite a heavy movie. It involves a lot of complicated stuff like alien abduction, prostitution and child abuse. You may not understand the movie fully on its core essence but his acting in particular is very haunting. Superb! Recommended too if you don’t get easily bored. The next that I saw was The Lookout. The Lookout is on the top of my Joe’s list. This was my favorite movie of his. It is more understandable than his movies Mysterious Skin and Brick. Not that indie or mainstream. Brick was also good, it is about teenage crime. I have a favorite quote from The Lookout. It is “I have the money, I have the power!” He uttered this line with so much grit. That scene was the highlight of the whole movie. Highly recommended! It has a very good supporting cast with Isla Fisher, Jeff Daniels and Matthew Goode in it. Well I cannot say much of his movies, I am just a mere spectator. But what I really love about his acting ability is how much of his face conveys emotions. His face is one of the most expressive that I have seen. His eyes are piercing with depth. His smile is freaking infectious (dimples, come on!), plus the tone of his voice is very meaty and with so much conviction. It is breath-taking to see someone affect you so much in so many aspects. Well so much for my adulation! Aside from his good looks and boyish charm, he is also very smart, he speaks French and he can sing and play the guitar. Plus he also run a collaborative-multimedia production outfit. To add, his earlier works are also good. He is well-rounded, he is actually very funny on interviews and is really good at comedy. You better watch this guy out. He is just taking his time to be the next super big thing! Love you Joe! ;)
